Woof! My name is Sega and I am a sweet low energy boy.
I am super patient with kids, love everyone I meet, ride well in the car, and am good with other dogs both big and small. I enjoy ear scratches, spending time with people, comfy dog beds, and rolling around in the grass outside.
I may be a big boy but I am scared of a lot of things including squeaky toys, thunder, fireworks, and being left alone. It took a little bit of time but I have settled into life at my foster parent’s house and no longer have issues with separation anxiety with them. I had a special calming collar that greatly helped me until I was able to adjust, and now I don’t need it anymore. Also, now that my heartworms are almost gone, my foster parents have started working with me on crate training so I can have a safe place to go and relax when my future family isn’t home. I am a very good boy and will do anything to please people but I will need a family who will continue my training and who will be patient with me as I adjust to a new home and new schedule. It may take me some time to settle in, but I’m a great dog when I’m not scared I’m going to be abandoned again.
I am super motivated by treats and food and LOVE to please humans so training me is pretty easy. I am 100% potty trained, and know sit, wait, take, lie down, and come. I am also working on crate training, stay, and leave it.
I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped, and I am currently spending time in a foster home while recovering from heartworm treatment.
